This very special event is presented by St Peter’s in partnership with Wave and SoundStorm, exploring the history of the Church and its Resurrection Chapel through music and display.
The Chapel was designed by renowned architect Sir Ninian Comper to commemorate the fallen of the parish in the First World War. The concert features Stone and Voice, a world premiere focussing on the Chapel’s heritage, alongside a performance of Faure’s Requiem with a 60 strong choir, soloists and Bath Philharmonia.
The evening will also see the launch of an exhibition within the Chapel, created by young people from Oak Academy and Bournemouth School, working with Dorset History Centre, St Peter’s and artist Martin Coyne.
The Chapel exterior will also be illuminated from 6pm for one night only.
