Dan Somogyi –Team Leader
Dan is currently the lead contact for Wave. Dan cut his teeth at jazz and world music development agency, Jazzeast, before moving to Bournemouth in 2002 to set up the multi-award winning SoundStorm Music Education Agency, which he still oversees. Dan took over responsibility for Wave in autumn 2015 and is helping the agency develop a sustainable model for the future.
Rachel Sené – Cultural Education Coordinator
Rachel exchanged the spires of Oxford for the seaside in August 2017 (having previously overseen Oxford University’s Micro-Internship Programme). No stranger to new places, Rachel has previously worked on arts and community engagement initiatives around the UK and internationally. Her experience ranges from setting up volunteer projects in Palestine, to spending two years as General Manager for a contemporary dance company in Cambodia, to supporting a tour of Khmer circus artists around Rwanda.
She is passionate about dynamic and accessible arts opportunities, and David Bowie’s back-catalogue.
Claire White – Senior Business Support Officer
Claire is an essential part of our team and makes sure our organisation runs smoothly, from managing our financial procedures to arranging training events. Claire also finds time to work part time as a Youth Support Worker for Poole Youth Service.
Claire Butler – Senior Business Support Officer
Job sharing with Claire White, Claire B is one of the longest supporting team members, having supported Wave since 2010. Claire has recently returned from maternity leave and helps with tasks across the business.
Jordi Robert – Arts Marketing Officer
His career started in Barcelona working for many video production companies on corporate, advertising, fashion, documentaries, TV and artistic productions. Jordi moved to the UK 20 years ago and Bournemouth became his home. He loves the Sea, coffee and football.
