We are inviting creative teachers/educators to participate in a free CPD session at Arts University Bournemouth(AUB).

This will take place on Saturday 17 March 2018, 0930-1430. The subject areas that will be explored are:

Workshop 1: Cardboard Kingdom

Opportunity to make a fictitious cardboard city by utilising STEAM techniques. Participants will use card, paper and recyclable material to make models with a focus on scale and proportions. This activity will demonstrate how innovation can support other core subjects – placing Art in STEM.

Workshop 2: Life Drawing

Improve your observational and drawing skills through the disciplined approach of life drawing. Expression through confident mark making by using various materials. This will involve drawing the nude human form and suitable for beginners and advanced individuals.

Workshop 3: Music Mayhem

How to create great music even if you and your students have very little prior experience. Music can open and strengthen learning whilst improving the wellbeing of those participating. Come explore the connections between rhythm, literacy and numeracy.

 

Free lunch will be provided from 1330-1430 and parking onsite will be open and accessible. We are asking staff to select 2 out of the 3 sessions. This will be done a first come, first basis.
