In December we saw Poole high street light up with festive cheer and handmade lanterns in the annual Lantern Procession.
Pupils from Haymoor Junior School, Twin Sails Infant School and Old Town Infant School were all involved in Wave’s workshops to create the lights, designed by local artist Ilse Black. Their creations were then proudly paraded down the high street by the students, their families and members of the public. The parade was confidently led by young performers from Carter Community School, followed by the Mayor of Poole and a marching band. Such a lovely festive event that could be enjoyed by all the family.
