AIMCommunityFYT Creative Arts Coordinator

Bournemouth

Part Time

13.5hrs per week

This role is to lead the Targeted Sessional Creative Arts projects for young people aged 8-13 in a new role funded by BBC Children in Need. We are looking for an experienced person in at least one area of art, dance, drama or film making with excellent leadership and youth/children’s work skills who can offer young people the opportunity to express themselves creatively, by facilitating and encouraging them to ‘perform higher’ and reach their potential.

AIMCommunityFYT is a creative arts, education and mentoring project for young people in Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset. All of our AIMCommunityFYT projects are based on the same successful ethos and principles of offering students a chance to develop technical ability while also working towards areas of personal development.

All staff working within AIMCommunity will be required to complete or hold a valid CRC/DBS check prior to their commencement of work with young people.

Closing date for applications is Wednesday 27

th May with interviews being held on Monday 1st June.

CONTRACT:

This post commences from June 2015 and is funded for 3 years. This post is subject to a 3 month probation period.

SALARY:

£ 24,847 pro rata

HOURS: Part Time

13.5hrs pw (pro rata full time 37.5hrs pw)
