This Christmas, Lighthouse’s festive show is returning to fully-fledged pantomime mode with the magical, mysterious, magnificent story of ALADDIN!
Peter Duncan (legendary actor, presenter, writer, documentary maker, former Chief Scout and Blue Peter star) and Max Bowden (star of hit BBC TV series Waterloo Road) are undertaking a school tour on Monday 14 November to explain what it takes to put on a pantomime, what a pantomime is, what audiences can expect from Aladdin at Lighthouse this year, and what life is like in the world of acting and showbiz more generally!
We are offering up to 7 schools the opportunity to host an informative, fun-packed 20 minute slot with the stars of the show, and there may also be an opportunity for a few older students to ask pre-prepared questions at the end.
The presentation will be suitable for the whole school.
SESSIONS ARE FREE! All we ask is that schools distribute a panto flyer to all students at the end of the day.
Slots available are as follows on Monday 14 November:
9.20 – 9.40
10.00 –10.20
10.40 – 11.00
11.25 – 11.45
1315 – 1335
1400 – 14.20

Please contact us if you would like Peter and Max to come to your school and whether there is a specific timeslot/slots you would prefer – or if you can be flexible – and we will endeavour to fit in as many schools as possible. The more flexible you can be, the better the chances.
In order to book a visit, please reply by 3pm on Friday 4 November. We will let successful schools know next Monday 7 November.
