wave’s mission is to increase cultural education activities in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. We do this in a number of ways:
- Supporting and enhancing relationships between the culture and education communities in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
- Increasing the capacity of the cultural and education sector to deliver high quality arts experiences
- Provide easier access to high quality arts for audiences from disadvantaged backgrounds through project work
- Increasing the value and profile of creative and cultural education locally and regionally
- Supporting children and young people to influence and lead their participation in the arts
- Helping to create progression routes for children and young people through Arts Awards and activities with the cultural sector
