Cultural Hub

The Cultural Hub is a unique consortium of arts/cultural organisations and schools in Bournemouth and Poole which promotes a direct dialogue, sharing of skills, and a meaningful relationship between the education and cultural sectors.  Its role is to bring together colleagues from schools and cultural organisations to create, develop and deliver inspirational learning opportunities for children and young people.

We believe the Cultural Hub is unique in the UK.  We develop and deliver projects in and out of schools that are directly relevant to our partners since they steer the project idea and design, and through our self-financing and peer-moderated model we don’t need to look to external funders for project money.  As well as ensuring our sustainability, this also allows us to decide our own priorities, take risks and be responsive to the needs or opportunities our partners bring to the table.

Please do have a look at the information included here for more details about the Cultural Hub programme, and don’t hesitate to Contact Us for more details, or to get your school on board.
