Wave delivers various activities that fit within our core aims of:
• Providing access to high quality arts and cultural experiences
• Supporting progression routes for young people in the cultural sector
We support and deliver creative projects in and for schools that deliver the curriculum in creative ways, bring new art forms into the classroom, inspire and engage children and young people and build on teachers’ creativity. We also support projects that give children and young people a chance to shape and lead experiences, provide leadership opportunities and that focus on challenging issues.
We run programmes that help young people achieve and progress within the cultural sector such as Arts Awards, and that increase opportunities for engaging with the arts, within new areas such as heritage, environment and the sciences/humanities.
